Class Homecoming

What a treat, we had all of our kids, and every one of our Grandkids, except Evan,
at our house today. Everyone is gone now, but the glow is still there. Melody being here, back in the house she was born in, helped make it even more special. So did having Cody Class and Donatella Class here together, the latest arrivals to our clan.
No matter what else is going on in the world, the market spiraling down into the abyss, radical management changes within my company, crazyness everywhere, nothing really diminishes the blessings God can give. The simple joy of being surrounded, amused, and amazed by our children, and our children's children. I know if Debbie and I had millions of dollars in the bank, we would not have enjoyed the day one iota more than we did.

And having a loving extended family group to share your joy with, priceless.

Well, Deb's already in bed, Elvis and I are beat, and with an hour less of sleep ahead, time to go into the blissfull deep purple dreamland. Nite nite.

Free at last, free at last

Thank God, I am free of court. Five full days of court, sitting around listening to preposterous lies. Listening to hostile attorneys trying their best to hide the truth, and and sell a lie. Wondering if the jury (yes, a full blown jury) would see through the smoke and lies. Realizing anything could happen. Praying with others, by myself, and having a prayer team on the job. Knowing that when it looked the worse, God could still give us victory, and he did. I had my own trial, in a trial. It was not fun, but the Lord delivered us!

Now I am buried at work, trying to catch up, and I feel like I'm in a whirlwind,
with huge issues blowing up on all fronts.

Yet I am happy, fortunate and blessed to have those problems, and I have hopefully learned lessons that will come in handy another time.

Infrequent Visits-Tidbits

I should have named this "Almost never on" I get busy with work, and often do not get to personal stuff for many days at a time.

Interesting item: A young lady I hired 4 years ago left us when she got married and moved to Bakersfield about a year ago. She called me last week, and told me her Mom was going to be on the new State Lottery show that coming Sunday. I told her to let me know if they won. She called on Sunday and announced her Mom had become the first Millionaire on the show, she won $2,800,000! Dave will remeber one of his best sales reps, and perhaps Crystal might remember Maria Sineriz. Can you believe that?
